Returns & Exchanges

We put a lot of pride into every order, and we want your Daffodil Day experience to be nothing short of wonderful!

Fresh Flowers

Due to the delicate and perishable nature of fresh daffodils, we’re unable to accept returns or offer refunds. However, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your fresh flowers—such as damaged, wilted, or incorrect blooms—please contact us within 24 hours of delivery by calling 1300 65 65 85 to discuss your order. If eligible, we may offer a replacement bunch.

To be eligible for an exchange, the flowers must:

  • Be in their original condition as received
  • Be made available for collection within 24 hours of delivery.

Please note that we may request a photo of the flowers and can only replace them if we are able to pick up the old flowers at the same time as we deliver the replacements.

Non-Perishable Products

For items such as pens, pins and keyrings, we offer exchanges if:

  • You notify us within 24 hours of delivery of the faulty item
  • The item is unused, in original packaging, and can be collected (or returned).

To start an exchange or let us know something isn’t right, email eventassistance@cancersa.org.au with your order number and a brief description (plus photos).

Once we receive the returned item in original condition, we’ll process your exchange within 7 business days.

Terms and Conditions

Fresh daffodils sold on this website are a perishable, natural item and their life span is dependent on their care. Please refer to the steps below to care for your fresh flowers.

Because each bunch of daffodils are picked and packed directly from the grower, slight variations may occur to the colour of your stems. We do our best to reflect the style and palette shown on our website, but substitutions may be made depending on availability. By purchasing through our website, you acknowledge there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods.

Fresh Daffodil Care:

You can generally expect your flowers to last up to 7 days provided they are cared for correctly.

Seven steps will help your flowers to last as long as possible:

  1. Use sharp scissors to cut the stems on an angle (in or under running water if possible) as soon as you receive the flowers.
  2. If you intend to display the daffodils in an arrangement with other floral varieties, place the cut daffodils in a separate vase filled with cool water. Allow them to sit for at least 6 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow their sap to leach out. This prevents the sap from harming other flowers in a mixed display.
  3. Ensure the vase that is used is clean and filled with fresh water.
  4. Always keep an eye on the water levels and change the water completely every two days.
  5. Avoid placing daffodils in direct sunlight or near ripening fruit, as the ethylene gas produced by the fruit can shorten their lifespan.
  6. If you need to trim the stems further after the initial conditioning, recut them under water to prevent the sap from sealing the stem again.
  7. Consider using a commercial flower food or adding a bit of sugar to the water to nourish the daffodils.
